I’ve been terribly busy lately. As you know, I’m enamored of theatre. And the internet. And sharing information to help people make connections both online and face-to-face. It’s what I do.

I’ve been involved with some form of online community since the dark ages of dialup. Yes, I remember getting kicked off the internet when I got a phone call on my home line.

When I first got online, I was more likely to be chatting with someone halfway across the continent than someone in my own neighborhood.

But then…

Three weeks ago I auditioned for two plays in one weekend. I didn’t get either part, which made me a little sad. I really wanted to be in one of the plays because I have friends who are on the production staff. I knew it would be great fun to spend time with them. Oh, well.

Y’all know that I’m working on learning to deal with rejection and to step outside my comfort zone. So I tried hard not to take it personally, and

I have some good news for all of you ladies out there who are concerned about the divorcees at your church. We don’t want your husbands. Really.

What are your fears?

When deciding to end my marriage, I was plagued by so many fears. I was afraid of the future. I was afraid of the unknown. I was afraid for my children. I was afraid that I’d be alone and lonely for the rest of my life.

I’m not usually a fearful person. My parents taught me to be a Strong Woman, just like my mom. However, they also taught me that home was supposed to be safe. Marriage was supposed to be safe. Now, I don’t believe that any more.

What is the hardest thing you’ve ever done? Everyone has a story to tell. My story about the hardest thing I’ve ever done is about a scary night near the end of my marriage.
